Lana Mori
Lana Mori is a Japanese-Armenian American director and
creative director based in New York. Raised in a family of
scientists and artists, she studied Biology before beginning her
career at Wieden + Kennedy and going on to lead creative for
brands and agencies across fashion, beauty, sportswear and
lifestyle.
As a filmmaker, Lana fuses a multidisciplinary creative
background with her roots in science. As creative director, she
thinks in systems and worlds. As designer — in the power of a
single frame. As former musician — in rhythm and movement.
As biologist, with a sense of invention and an attraction to new
ways of seeing.
Her work conjures style and magic — drawing on fashion
sensibility, heightened art direction, surrealism and playful
subversion to reveal unseen dimensions within the familiar.
